6.25.22 - Living Together By The Spirit (Kenny Camacho)
SCRIPTURE: Galatians 5.13-6.2
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” - Galatians 5:22-25
REFLECTION/DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Take a moment to try and summarize some of the things we’ve learned about the letter to the Galatians so far: What has stood out to you? What might God be trying to say to us?
What do you think gets in the way of your willingness to rest in the truth that the Holy Spirit is working within you?
Where do you experience the temptation to seek control in your life, especially when it comes to “good behaviors”?
Where do you see reflections of God’s character in yourself?
What “fruit of the Spirit” do you feel most distant from? Are you willing to pray for that “fruit” to be more evident in your life?
Where do you see reflections of God’s character in others? Take time this week to tell them so!
