Why is it important to consider the context and recipients of the letters in 1 Timothy when interpreting its instructions? How can you apply the principles from 1 Timothy to your own life while considering its original context and audience?
What are the qualities of a good messenger, and why are they important?
Why are your flaws an important part of your ability to be a messenger?
Why is your faithfulness an important part?
What is your visibility? Who “sees” you on a regular basis… and who/what do they usually see?
Why is Jesus considered a self-evident revelation as a messenger? Is it sufficient for us to see our jobs as ultimately to point to Him?
What specific actions can you take to contribute to a loving, sincere, and authentic church community?
