Weekly Announcements:
BIG NEWS! // KENNY’S TRANSITION TO THE LEAD PASTORSHIP
This past Sunday, we announced that our current Executive Pastor, Dr. Kenny Camacho, has accepted the position of Interim Lead Pastor at Revolution Annapolis! Our former Lead Pastor, Josh Burnett, will be remaining on staff under Kenny’s leadership until the end of the year in order to help complete the transition, and then, effective January 1, Kenny will be fully installed in this position. We are all truly excited about this move, and we believe that Kenny will do a great job! You can listen to Josh and Kenny’s announcement using the link above, and if you have any questions about the transition, please feel free to contact Kenny directly at kenny@revolutionannapolis.com. If you want to learn more about what Josh is up to next, you can find out about the Flourish Project by emailing him at josh@revolutionannapolis.com. Thank you all for your prayers, questions, and encouragement!
CONNECT // REVOLUTION MOMS GROUP
Our MOMS group at Revolution meets every second Wednesday of the month. We will be meeting this week on October 10th at 9:30 til 11 at the home of Cathy Miller, 500 Wilson Road, Annapolis, MD 21401. This week’s topic will be “How to Talk to People You Disagree With.” Childcare is provided.
ACT // SUPPLYING A NEW FOOD PANTRY
A new food pantry has opened in the Harbor House community, and they have a need for paper grocery bags! Bags are often available for donation at local grocery stores, which is where you come in: the next time you go to the store, please take a moment to ask Customer Service if they have bags they would be willing to donate. You can drop off the bags on Sunday mornings at the Welcome + Info table, or you can give them directly to Edward Giard, who will be acting as our point person with this project. Lastly, this is an ongoing need, so even if you can’t help this week, there will be more opportunities to give as we move forward with this exciting and important initiative!
