BELONG // FALL GROUPS ARE COMING!

Fall Groups will be launching the week of September 22! There are some returning favorites, several brand new options, and even a few new Local Groups where you can plug in, make friends, and explore your faith. To learn more about the options, and to meet a group leader, click HERE!

BELIEVE // OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT BAPTISM

We are hoping to celebrate a Baptism Sunday in September! If you have never been baptized and you have questions about it, please email Kenny at kenny@revolutionannapolis.com. There is no pressure, and he would love to talk with you about your questions about this very important part of Christian belief, teaching, and practice!

BECOME // MOMS GROUP

Returning this fall to Revolution, our Moms Group will be meeting now on the THIRD THURSDAY of each month at the home of Liz Wheeler: 120 Sumner Lane, Annapolis. We will begin meeting on Thursday, September 19th from 9:15-11:00 am. Our first meeting will just be a time to catch up with one another and introduce our future study topic, which will be a Bible study by Kelly Minter on the books of 1-3 John. Generally childcare is offered ($5 per mom), but on this first week we will have the kids with us while we drink coffee and socialize.

BELONG // SEPTEMBER 28 SCAVENGER HUNT!

On September 28, Revolution will be having a church-wide scavenger hunt throughout downtown Annapolis, followed by a church cookout. It will be an awesome time to share in some fun, make new friends, and have a good time in the city our church calls home! Sign up today at revolutionannapolis.com/hunt!

BELIEVE // SHE READS TRUTH & HE READS TRUTH RESOURCES

Revolution is participating in a beta test with the She Reads Truth & He Reads Truth apps. These apps provide users with multiple Bible translations with daily devotional guides. We would love for everyone at Revolution to be reading their Bible throughout the week, and these apps are a great tool to guide you as you do so. For example, both apps have a reading plan on James- the book of the Bible we’re studying in our current sermon series! To receive Revolution’s free code and for more details, email meredith@revolutionannapolis.com.

BECOME // FURNITURE DONATIONS FOR THE HARBOR HOUSE COMMUNITY

Our friends in the Harbor House community are in need of donated furniture to help out their new neighbors this summer! The “Sophisticated Grands,” a group of grandmothers in the neighborhood who help provide food and practical supplies for others in their community, have asked us to help them restock their supply center. If you have extra furniture you would be willing to donate, please let Kenny know and he will help coordinate a way to drop it off. This is a tremendous way to help the people of the Harbor House neighborhood by supporting the leaders in that community! Please consider making a gift this week.

BECOME // SHARING YOUR STORY

Over the last few months, we have introduced story sharing into our regular Sunday services. We believe that sharing stories is one of the most important ways we connect with one another, encourage one another, and support one another in our journeys. It’s through our stories that we truly understand we are not alone, and that our beliefs about God and faith grow when we talk about them! If you would be interested in sharing a story about your life, faith, or questions at Revolution—even anonymously—you can learn more about how to do that by talking with Fred Miller, who will be serving as our Storytelling Coordinator this year. He would love to hear from you! You can reach Fred by email at fredmiller4life@gmail.com.

BECOME // BLOOD DRIVE SEPTEMBER 29

The fires have been put out, the BloodMobile has been repaired, and we are finally ready for our Fall Blood Drive! Please make an effort to join us in supporting Anne Arundel Medical Center and our friends and neighbors by donating blood on September 29! The BloodMobile will be on site at Germantown Elementary all morning, so eat a healthy breakfast and make a plan to show up a bit early or stay a bit late so you can donate. There really is no easier, more practical, or more meaningful way for us to care for the people of our community: your blood saves lives.

BELIEVE // SOUP AND BOOK STUDY

Fred and Cathy Miller are hosting a soup dinner and book study that meets quarterly to explore cultural and spiritual themes of interest to inquiring Christians. Diverse views are welcome, and all interested people are welcome to attend. The next meeting is Sunday, October 20, 4:00pm-5:30pm, with a soup meal following. Study is based on the book, "Rising Out of Hatred – The Awakening of a Former White Nationalist" by Derek Black (nephew of David Duke). Please read as much as possible to participate in discussion. Meeting is at the Millers, 500 Wilson Road, Annapolis, 21401. RSVP is appreciated (text Cathy at 717-602-6917).

BELONG // REVMIDDLE AND REVHIGH

If you are a middle schooler or high schooler, Revolution’s youth group meets during second service on Sundays! Make sure to be there…and if you have any questions, please get in touch with our team leader, Shawn Livingston, at shawn@revolutionannapolis.com.
