BELIEVE // SHARING PSALMS OF LAMENT

As we discussed grief and lament in our last Sunday sermon series, we invited members of our community to compose their own psalms of lament. If you would like to read the psalms we read aloud on Sunday, you can find them HERE. A big thank you to those who shared: your vulnerability helped to create a special and impactful moment in our service!

BECOME // SHARING YOUR STORY

Over the last few months, we have introduced story sharing into our regular Sunday services. We believe that sharing stories is one of the most important ways we connect with one another, encourage one another, and support one another in our journeys. It’s through our stories that we truly understand we are not alone, and that our beliefs about God and faith grow when we talk about them! If you would be interested in sharing a story about your life, faith, or questions at Revolution—even anonymously—you can learn more about how to do that by talking with Fred Miller, who will be serving as our Storytelling Coordinator this year. He would love to hear from you! You can reach Fred by email at fredmiller4life@gmail.com.

BELIEVE // OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT BAPTISM

We will be celebrating a few baptisms soon, and if you would like to learn more about what baptism is, why it is important to us at Revolution, or if you have questions about being baptized, please email Kenny at kenny@revolutionannapolis.com. There is no pressure, and he would love to talk with you about your questions about this very important part of Christian belief, teaching, and practice!

BELIEVE // SOUP AND BOOK STUDY

Fred and Cathy Miller are hosting a soup dinner and book study that meets quarterly to explore cultural and spiritual themes of interest to inquiring Christians. Diverse views are welcome, and all interested people are welcome to attend. The next meeting is THIS SUNDAY, October 20, 4:00pm-5:30pm, with a soup meal following. Study is based on the book, "Rising Out of Hatred – The Awakening of a Former White Nationalist" by Derek Black (nephew of David Duke). Please read as much as possible to participate in discussion. Meeting is at the Millers, 500 Wilson Road, Annapolis, 21401. RSVP is appreciated (text Cathy at 717-602-6917).

BELIEVE // WORSHIP NIGHT AT CENTERPOINT

The Revolution Band has been invited to lead worship for a Worship and Prayer Night at Centerpoint Church on November 1. The event is being organized in support of Stadia, a church planting organization that helped get Revolution’s story started in 2010 and who continue to plant hundreds of churches each year all around the world. The event is free, and we want to encourage everyone to come out and join us in worship!

BELONG // REVMIDDLE AND REVHIGH

If you are a middle schooler or high schooler, Revolution’s youth group meets during second service on Sundays! Make sure to be there…and if you have any questions, please get in touch with our team leader, Shawn Livingston, at shawn@revolutionannapolis.com.
