Weekly Announcements:

BECOME // MEDICAL DEBT STORY

As you might have seen, the story about our church’s efforts to forgive medical debt in our community have made international news in the past week! We hope this story encourages other churches and organizations across our country to follow our lead in purchasing and forgiving debt in their own communities; there is no limit to the size and scope of what God can do with this dream! If you would like to read or share the story, the most comprehensive article was from last Tuesday in the Christian Post. You can find it HERE.

BELONG // EASTER IS COMING!

Easter is a time to celebrate the peace and wholeness a relationship with God brings, not just to our individual lives, but also to our world. This Easter, we will be holding services at our regularly scheduled times and location: Germantown Elementary, at 9:30 and 11:00. Extra seating will be set up, and we hope that you will join us in inviting friends, family, and neighbors to visit with us that Sunday to hear from God’s story and hopefully catch a glimpse of who God’s people are intended to be for one another. If you are looking for additional events to attend this Easter season, our friends at Downtown Hope will be holding a Good Friday service at their location (255 West St) at 5:30 pm, as well as a 24-hour prayer vigil beginning Saturday at 10 am.

BELIEVE // MEN’S RETREAT 2019

We are excited to announce that on April 12-14, the men of Revolution are going to be returning to Indian Lake Camp for the annual Men’s Retreat! Here at Revolution, we try to create a retreat environment that lives up to its name, so get ready for plenty of good food, encouraging conversations, spiritual encouragement, and lots of time to relax. The Camp is rustic (bring a sleeping bag!), but there are showers, a large dining hall, and plenty of places to explore. The cost is $75. Sign up HERE TODAY!

BELONG // MOM’S GROUP MEETS THIS WEEK

The Moms' Group meets this Wednesday at 9:15 at the Wheelers’ home (120 Sumner Rd). We're going to be discussing “life seasons.” To prepare for discussion, listen (if you can, but it's ok if you can't!) to the podcast The Next Right Thing, episodes 01 & 61 (together, they're 32 minutes long). Babysitting is provided; a $5 contribution for those who use the service is encouraged. If you can, bring food and an egg basket for a post-group Easter egg hunt and picnic!

BELONG // YOUTH GROUP MEETING THIS SUNDAY

If you are a middle schooler, high schooler, or the parent of either, please join our youth leaders, Bailey Nilsen, Erin Porter, and Shawn Livingston, for a brief meeting between 1st and 2nd service at 10:40 this Sunday. We would like to discuss expanding our Sunday gatherings, dreaming ahead for midweek gatherings, and planning fun outings over the summer. Our youth group is growing! Make sure to stop by for the meeting this Sunday so your voice can be heard and you can find a part to play! If you have any questions, please get in touch Shawn Livingston at shawn@revolutionannapolis.com.

BECOME // SHARING YOUR STORY

Over the last several weeks, we have been talking a lot about sharing our stories with one another…even when those stories are messy or unfinished! We believe that sharing stories is one of the most important ways that we connect with one another, encourage one another, and support one another in our journeys. It’s through our stories that we truly understand we are not alone, and that our beliefs about God and faith grow when we talk about them! If you would be interested in sharing a story about your life, faith, or questions at Revolution—even anonymously—you can learn more about how to do that by talking with Fred Miller, who will be serving as our Storytelling Coordinator this year. He would love to hear from you! You can reach Fred by email at fredmiller4life@gmail.com.

BELONG // FAMILY RETREAT 2019

We’re trying something new this year with Revolution’s 1st Family Retreat in Berkeley Springs, WV! Our hope is that Family Retreat will be a time of rest, fun, and connection for the members of our Revolution family. Whether you’re new to camping or an old pro, Family Retreat is for you, and we hope you’ll join us! Save the date for May 16-19, 2019 (but feel free to come late or leave early). For more information, go to revolutionannapolis.com/familyretreat.

BECOME // SUPPLYING A LOCAL FOOD PANTRY

A local food pantry has opened in the Harbor House community, and they have a need for paper grocery bags! Bags are often available for donation at local grocery stores, which is where you come in: the next time you go to the store, please take a moment to ask Customer Service if they have bags they would be willing to donate. You can drop off the bags on Sunday mornings at the Welcome + Info table, or you can give them directly to Edward Giard, who will be acting as our point person with this project. Lastly, this is an ongoing need, so even if you can’t help this week, there will be more opportunities to give as we move forward with this exciting and important initiative!
