BELONG // REVOLUTION, COVID-19, AND STAYING CONNECTED
As we all settle in to the new (and difficult) rhythms of our lives, our tendency is going to be to isolate ourselves. But as a church family, we are here for one another! If you are feeling alone, please don’t be afraid to reach out to a friend or to our church staff: we are still working, and our phones are always nearby! And if you are missing someone, please send them an email, a text, or make a phone call, too! We are all in this together, and we are a family: you matter here, and we are here for you.
BECOME // PRACTICAL WAYS TO LOVE OTHERS THIS WEEK
On Sunday, Kenny shared a few ideas for how we can be the church in this season, even in small ways:
Call or text 3 people in your contact list who you haven't spoken to in the last two weeks.
If you have the means, support a local business by ordering takeout...and then tip excessively!
Invite a neighbor to a "socially distant" hangout this evening: pull up chairs (no closer than 6 ft!) and talk over the grill, over dinner, or over a drink.
If you know someone with young children at home, send them a surprise package of craft supplies.
Send a digital gift card for a cup of coffee or lunch to someone you know who is an "essential worker" in this season.
Get a "virtual hangout" going this afternoon with friends or family.
What might happen if we all put some of these ideas into practice this week? When we follow the example Jesus sets out for us, great things can happen. Together, we can still make a meaningful difference in our community!

Each week, we want to start our online service by seeing each other’s faces! Do you want to learn more about spiritual gifts? Do you have questions about the current series? Spend some time with us in an open-forum conversation about “Giftedness” this Wednesday night at 8:30! BECOME // SERVE WITH MEALS ON WHEELS
There are still opportunities to serve, even in the midst of this crisis! One way you can contribute is by packing and even possibly delivering meals to the elderly in our community through the Meals On Wheels program. You can learn more about packing events and volunteering HERE. Check in today and find out what helping can still look like under the latest guidelines!
BECOME // DONATE BLOOD WITH AAMC
With hospitalizations on the rise, our community is in desperate need for blood donations. You can still help! The Blood Donor Center at Anne Arundel Medical Center is open Monday-Wednesday from 8:15am - 3:45pm & Thursday-Friday from 7:15am - 2:45pm. To learn more about Blood Mobile drives in your area, you can check them out HERE.
BELIEVE // LET’S READ THE BIBLE TOGETHER!
Have you ever wanted to learn more about the Bible, but you haven’t known where to start? Our lead pastor is always eager to lead or help facilitate new Bible study groups to help make that happen! You can message Kenny any time at kenny@revolutionannapolis.com to see about starting a weekly study over coffee before work, connecting with our online Bible study group, or starting something totally new for others to be a part of!
BELONG // FAMILY RETREAT CANCELED
Unfortunately, the campground we planned to use for our Family Retreat is closed through April 26 due to COVID-19.
BELONG // INFO ON THE 2020 WOMEN’S RETREAT
This Fall, all women in our church community are invited to attend the 2020 Revolution Women’s Retreat for a time of fellowship, for the kindling of new friendships, and for focused time with God. The weekend getaway will be held at a beach house in Rehoboth, DE on October 23-25. Sign ups have already begun HERE. Make sure to reserve a spot!
