BELONG // HELP US WITH A QUICK SURVEY!
As we make plans for the coming months at Revolution, we would love to get your input on what our gatherings might look like in light of Covid-19. Please take just a moment to fill out this survey and share your thoughts with us!
BELONG // REVOLUTION, COVID-19, AND STAYING CONNECTED
As we continue in these unusual rhythms of our lives, our tendency is going to be to isolate ourselves. But as a church family, we are here for one another! If you are feeling alone, please don’t be afraid to reach out to a friend or to our church staff: we are still working, and our phones are always nearby! You can reach our lead pastor, Kenny, by email at kenny@revolutionannapolis.com or by phone at 803.727.8500. And if you are missing someone, please send them an email, a text, or make a phone call, too! We are all in this together, and we are a family: you matter here, and we are here for you.
BELONG // SUNDAY PICNICS AT HERITAGE
On Sundays throughout the summer, everyone who feels comfortable gathering outdoors is invited to meet up for a picnic lunch at noon at Heritage Baptist Church. Heritage has given us permission to use a large, shady grove on their property to gather, eat food, and catch up with one another. We are really excited for this! If you are interested, please bring a chair, a picnic lunch, and join us!
BECOME // STARTING A ‘BE THE BRIDGE’ GROUP IN PURSUIT OF RACIAL RECONCILIATION
As followers of Jesus, we are called into the ministry of reconciliation and to be peacemakers. As we begin to explore ways to pursue racial reconciliation as a church family, one step we are taking is starting a discussion group using a guide from Be the Bridge Organization, based on Latasha Morrison’s book, Be the Bridge. Our first step in this journey is to investigate “what it means to be white, the foundational principles every white bridge builder needs to understand.” This is a 4 week course which we are suggesting we begin on Sunday, July 5 at 9 a.m. We will use Zoom for our class discussion. and will send you the Zoom link once we know who is going to join. To participate you must download the participant BBT 101 guide (cost is $10). If you want to be a part of this group, please send Cathy Miller an email and she will follow up with you with the Zoom information: cathygrowinghealthy@gmail.com or text her at 771-602-6917.
BECOME // FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
If you’ve been looking for a chance to serve our community on a weekend, we have an opportunity for you! LoveAACO is sponsoring a “pop-up pantry” every Saturday at Tyler Heights Elementary. Thousands of guests are being served through this location, and there is a high need for helping hands. To learn more, click the link HERE and sign up to help out!
BELIEVE // WEDNESDAY NIGHT “THEOLOGY ON TAP”
We are continuing to hold an open-discussion discipleship group on Wednesday nights for all who are interested. Kenny leads, and the community has plenty of room for you! Join on Zoom by clicking this link https://zoom.us/j/7975456192 and entering the password: revolution. Once work is done, kids are asleep, and pets are fed, grab a beverage of your choice and log on with us!
BELONG // REVMIDDLE AND REVHIGH
If you are a middle schooler or high schooler, Revolution’s youth group is for you. If you would like to connect in this season, please get in touch with our team leader, Bailey Nilsen, at revyouth@revolutionannapolis.com.
