BELONG // UPCOMING EVENTS AT THE REVOLUTION DINER!

Join us after church this Saturday, October 9 for a potato bar meal together! As we move through the fall, we will be having dinners once each month after service to give us all a space to gather, connect, and converse. We hope you will make a plan to join us!

BECOME // FAITH IN BLUE EVENT THIS WEEKEND

On Sunday afternoon, the churches of the Clergy of Annapolis Group (of which we are a part!) are jointly sponsoring a “Faith in Blue” event in partnership with the Annapolis Police Department. The hope for the event is that it can help to foster a better relationship between religious communities and law enforcement, especially downtown in our city. The event will be held at The People’s Park at the corner of Clay and Calvert Streets from 1-5 this Sunday. Please plan to stop by if you are able!

BELONG // MULTI-CHURCH PICNIC AT QUIET WATERS

Speaking of the Clergy of Annapolis Group, Allelon Church is sponsoring a multi-church picnic from 11am-5pm on Saturday, October 16 at the Sycamore Pavilion in Quiet Waters Park. Entrance is free (if you tell the folks at the gate you’re with the picnic), and hamburgers, hot dogs, and water will be provided. This is a wonderful chance for us to build relationships between our congregations, and even though that weekend is already pretty booked up with our birthday events (see the next announcement!), we hope to see some of you there!

BECOME // BIRTHDAY WEEKEND OCT. 15-17

Last year, Revolution turned 10 years old…but a certain pandemic got in the way of our chance to celebrate. So this October, we want to give our 10th birthday another shot! Make plans to join us for a weekend of celebration October 15-17: we’ll kick things off with a mens gathering at 7pm around the fire pit on the evening of October 15 at the Millers’ home (500 Wilson Rd. Annapolis, MD 21401). Then, on the evening of October 16, we’ll forgo our typical Saturday night service for a womens gathering at 7pm at the same place. And finally, on Sunday, October 17, we’ll celebrate with cake after an outdoor worship service at the Millers’ that morning. It’s going to be a great time to reconnect with friends, give thanks for the good work God has done in and through our community over the last 11 years, and have real conversations about what our hopes and dreams are as a church for the years ahead. Don’t miss it!

BELONG // AFTER SERVICE GROUP

The After Service Group now meets up on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month for anyone and everyone who is interested in hanging out following our worship services! This group is a great way to make new friends, support local businesses, and invest in the community of our church—if you’re free after church on Saturdays, make a plan to join in!

BELONG // FALL GROUPS ARE HERE!

This week, we are launching our first full slate of groups since 2019! If you’d like to see what offerings are here—and sign up!—you can learn more HERE. There are tons of choices this year, from a new men’s group, online Bible studies, chances to eat together, chances to serve together, and chances to grow together. We’re excited to see what’s next!

BELONG // YOUTH GROUP IS BACK!

Are you a teen, or the parent of one? RevYouth is back! Meetings are on Saturday nights from 6:30-8:00. Expect games, friends, and fun as we come together to learn more about how we can live out our faith in community.
