BELONG // UPCOMING EVENTS AT THE REVOLUTION DINER!

Around once each month, we will be sharing desserts/meals with one another in the fellowship hall here at Heritage from 6:45-7:30. The hope is that these events give us more chances to enjoy tasty food together, extend our time together on Saturday nights, and catch up with one another after a long season of separation. Go ahead and mark your calendars for the upcoming events!

September 11: taco night (SIGN UP to bring something!)

October 9: potato bar

November 13: chili night

December 11: soups

BECOME // ANNAPOLIS TORNADO RELIEF

On September 1, a tornado did significant damage to our city, particularly in the communities of Edgewater, Parole, and Admiral Heights. As Christians, it is our calling and our great joy to be a source of relief and restoration to our neighbors at times like these. We will continue sharing clean-up opportunities on social media, gathering and planning with other faith leaders in our community, and doing all we can to help our neighbors in need. To that end, the best way to have an immediate and tangible impact on the lives of those who have lost their homes is by following our city council’s lead by donating through the local nonprofit, Blessed in Tech Ministries, who have set up a donations page HERE. All funds will be used to buy gift cards to distribute to those who have been impacted by the storm. Let’s all do what we can to make a difference!

BECOME // “GO THE EXTRA MILE” FOR CHURCH PLANTING

As we heard this past week, Revolution was started almost 11 years ago because new churches are vital for creating communities that bring hope to neighborhoods and towns around the world. One of the organizations that helped get Revolution started was Stadia Church Planting, whose work we continue to support as a church. This fall, on September 18, Stadia is inviting folks to get to know their work and to support their future projects by hosting their second annual “Go the Extra Mile Day.” This year, they are promoting awareness by building a mile’s worth of Lego (that’s about 50,000 bricks!). We want you to join us, help us build, share about the event on social media, and consider giving a special gift to help us reach our goal. BELONG // FALL GROUPS ARE JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

The week of September 18, we will be launching our first full slate of groups since 2019! If you’d like to see what offerings are coming—and sign up!—you can learn more HERE. There are tons of choices this year, from a new men’s group, online Bible studies, an academic-style class on the history of the Bible, chances to eat together, chances to serve together, and chances to grow together. We’re excited to see what’s next!

BECOME // BLOOD DRIVE SEPT. 25

On Saturday, September 25, we will be hosting a Blood Drive here at Heritage from 2pm-6pm. We are hoping to involve folks from Heritage, along with other churches here in Annapolis, in order to make this drive as successful as possible! Go ahead and mark your calendars, and you can sign up for a spot HERE.

BELONG // YOUTH GROUP IS BACK!

Are you a teen, or the parent of one? RevYouth is back! Meetings are on Saturday nights from 6:30-8:00. Expect games, friends, and fun as we come together to learn more about how we can live out our faith in community.
