4.12.20 - Easter, Unbelievable (Kenny Camacho)

SCRIPTURE: Matthew 27, John 20

When does an “unbelievable” story become something more? How does the “unbelievable” story of Easter change everything?

SERMON REFLECTION/DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

  1. What is an “unbelievable” story from your own life? What makes it so hard to believe? Do other people in your life/circle believe it? Why/why not?

  2. What does Easter mean to you, personally? Why do you think it is such a significant day in the Christian calendar (even though it is pretty weird!)?

  3. What were the expectations being put on Jesus as he returned to Jerusalem?

  4. In what ways are you like the people of Jerusalem, who have difficulty seeing the ways Jesus is working?

  5. What are some of the unexpected ways God has moved in your own life?

  6. Where are you allowing your own expectations for how God moves to potentially keep you from seeing what God is actually doing? Join us in praying for the ability to pay attention to how God is moving this week!
