BELONG // SATURDAY SERVICES START THIS WEEK!

Beginning SATURDAY, June 5 we will be meeting weekly at Heritage Baptist Church (1740 Forest Dr). Services will be on Saturday evenings at 5:30 pm. We will be following current state- and county-wide Covid safety precautions. At present, that means that we will be observing social distance in the building, wearing masks during our worship time (when we are singing!), and, if you are vaccinated, masks will be optional during the teaching time and before/after service. We will be offering childcare options, and children/volunteers in that area will need to wear masks. Also, if you can help out, we will need you! All of our service teams will be looking for volunteers to help make these gatherings happen, including in Production/Sound, RevKids, and Guest Experience. If you are ready to be a part of a team, please reach out to the team leads or Meredith (meredith@revolutionannapolis.com) and she can get you connected!

BELONG // ICE CREAM SOCIAL JUNE 5

Make plans to hang out for a bit after our first in-person Saturday service for an ice cream social! One of the great perks of our new “home” at Heritage is the ability to use the fellowship hall and kitchen there to hang out a bit after our services. We’ll be aiming to have socials and dinners each month, and we would love it if you could join us for this one on June 5!

BELONG // AFTER SERVICE GROUP LAUNCHES JUNE 12

Maggie Young, our Young Adults leader at Revolution, will be organizing bi-weekly hangouts for anyone and everyone who is interested on Saturday nights following our worship services. The plan will be to go out somewhere nearby and local together for dinner and socializing. This will be a great way to make new friends, support local businesses, and invest in the community of our church! We’ll kick things off on June 12…so make plans to hang out with us!

BECOME // VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR ANNAPOLIS LIGHT HOUSE SHELTER

Annapolis Light House Shelter, is an absolutely indispensable organization here in the city that helps our neighbors transition out of homelessness. They are looking to improve their outdoor spaces at their facility (10 Hudson Street) and they need our help! These spaces are essential and therapeutic for their residents, so keeping them beautiful is important. If you can help them weed, rake, bag leaves, or take yard waste, please send them an email to find out about the next work day at volunteers@annapolislighthouse.org. Let’s love our neighbors well!

As more and more of us become vaccinated, in-person groups are slowly returning to their old rhythms! Right now, there are several groups that are active…and any of them could be a great way to begin reconnecting with others in our church community. BELONG // SOFTBALL!

We will be participating in a church softball league this summer! If you’d like to play, games will be at Annapolis Middle School on Monday and Wednesday nights (times TBD). Message Kenny if you want to join—you are welcome to play as much or as little as you want! Our first practice will be next Monday night, June 7 at Annapolis MS (time TBD).

Are you studying the Psalms alongside us? You can find our Revolution Study Guides for Psalms 1-41, Psalms 42-72, Psalms 73-89, and Psalm 90-106 here! As we work our way through all 150 psalms this year, our Preaching Team will continue to keep these documents updated.
