BELONG // UPCOMING MEETING SCHEDULE

June 5 - IN-PERSON, INDOOR SERVICE at Heritage Baptist Church (5:30 pm)

Beginning SATURDAY, June 5 we will be meeting weekly indoors, following all recommended safety protocols, at Heritage Baptist Church (1740 Forest Dr). Services will be on Saturday evenings at 5:30 pm. If you can help out, we will need you! All of our service teams will be looking for volunteers to help make these gatherings happen, including in Production/Sound, RevKids, and Guest Experience. If you are ready to be a part of a team, please reach out to the team leads or Meredith (meredith@revolutionannapolis.com) and she can get you connected!

BELONG // NEW LOGO!

Our new logo is here! There are two big changes, both with a vision behind them: first, we have changed our name from "Revolution Annapolis" to "Revolution Church." Our hope is that this change clarifies that we are a Christian community where people can belong, grow in their beliefs, and become the people God intends for us to be. Second, we have traded in the "U-turn" logo that has been with us since Revolution launched in 2010 for a logo that depicts the street patterns of Church and State Circles at the center of our city. Whereas the "U-turn" emphasizes the need for personal transformation in our lives, our hope is that the new logo reaches beyond our journeys as individuals to remind us of the place where God has put our church, the purpose we have as missionaries here, and the people we have the opportunity to serve. It also helps to keep "Annapolis" at the center of our identity, even though the word is no longer in our church name itself!

As we head towards the post-pandemic chapter in Revolution's story, we want to remember that God is in the business of making all things new. The "revolution" God is bringing is one that offers real hope, real connection, and the promise of real restoration and justice for the world we live in. Of course, a new church logo can't say all of that! But it can give us a chance to refocus on who we are called to be for the people around us. For 11 years, God has used this church to give a glimpse of who He is to this city. What new opportunities for genuinely loving our neighbors will the year ahead bring? What will God do in and through Revolution next?

BELONG // ICE CREAM SOCIAL JUNE 5

Make plans to hang out for a bit after our first in-person Saturday service for an ice cream social! One of the great perks of our new “home” at Heritage is the ability to use the fellowship hall and kitchen there to hang out a bit after our services. We’ll be aiming to have socials and dinners each month, and we would love it if you could join us for this one on June 5!

As more and more of us become vaccinated, in-person groups are slowly returning to their old rhythms! Right now, there are several groups that are active…and any of them could be a great way to begin reconnecting with others in our church community.
